Silk Way Rally 2013 – We started

After hard preparations and training, on Friday, fifth of June, we stood on a start of Silk Way Rally. Starting celebration was traditionally placed on Red square in Moscow. Right before this starting ceremony, we had to pass the technical check in Palace of sport in Luzhniky. We got the starting number 159 and stood on a starting line. More than a hundred teams go ahead 7 days of Russian wilderness.

Literally 2821,91 kilometres. This year rally starts in Moscow and goes to Astrakhan. Seven sections goes thru the Tambov, Volgograd and Elista. Even the track is really tough, we are going to fight for the first three positions.

During the first day, we moved 452,91 kilometres to Tambov city. During the Sunday, we are going to move 242,19 kilometres to start of the first selective section, which is 199,05 kilometres long. The track is mostly hard surface. In the afternoon, the second selective section starts. 90% of surface is based on sand and the rest is just gravel. The weather is quite good, we still hope for no difference.

We are going to inform about our status and about the stage also.
